Button Amanita Mushroom Hand Embroidery - 3"

This original Amanita mushroom was stitched in January 2023 in a hand embroidery technique called "threadpainting". 

This beautiful mushroom was inspired by a photograph I took while I was out mushroom foraging in the mountains of California! It was just hanging out along the side of the road, begging for a photoshoot! I've stitched a couple versions of this photogenic mushy, in slightly different styles.

The hoop measures 3" internally and is painted gold. It can be hung with a small nail using the hoop hardware at the top, or stood up with a plate stand (not included) on a table or shelf.
