Amanita Mushroom Hand Embroidery - 3"

This original Fly Amanita (amanita muscaria) mushroom was stitched in January 2023 in a hand embroidery technique called "threadpainting". It's the only one of its kind.

This beautiful mushroom was inspired by a photograph I took while I was out mushroom foraging in the mountains of California! The cap was juuuuuust about ready to open. 

The hoop measures 3" internally and is painted gold. It can be hung with a small nail using the hoop hardware at the top, or stood up with a plate stand (not included) on a table or shelf.
